These ar my twins AKKi dolls I have a collection of these dolls .They where made in Germany.I have about 16 .They are allot of fun .
This is a piece of vintage fabric I think it is so pretty.It is about 1-1/2 yard I just cannot cut it so when I use it will have to be a big project .

I received my first ACT from Susan at-- sjmcdowellblogspot.com-- It is also Susan first,along with me .Mine is stitching I will one of these days do it with paper .If you have not joined the sw, do it is fun .It is all about meeting people. I now have to sit my new ACT on the table. Been painting and stitching ,and sewing.

This is what I sent. The native is a copy of a painting I did from a photo I took at a powwow at New Town ND .The print is from my last swap of a doll making book.

I'm working on next swaps.I need to get them done I may be gone from home at other swaps. So I want them done. The thing is sometimes you think of something else to do.

This is the first giveaway I won the coordination is wonderful I sew the fabric together .She had beads I have never seen.Will post when done I may put it on a pillow The giveaway was from Pat Winter Gatherings She does amazing work. Take a look.

This is my sun room. It was a covered patio.We enclosed in last summer . The room is all things I had in the house or storage shed .We now have a patio off the sun room. Joe just finished it. It is almost always cool, Very cool in the winter we do not heat it .At the end of the room I have a closet full of my holiday storage and it is now full. But under my bed a cleaned out.

Hi every one I have been working on I do not know
I was in a swap with Etsy cottage style I was roses This is what I received
Two roses soap and a nice necklace .and a handmade card.also a candle.


My friend gave me these mannequin they are in bad shape .Joe will get them fixed filling the holes and cracks and then I will paint them my friend is good with doing make up so will have him paint the face..I still need to get the head for the standing one it was spray painted . They have been in a barn that is falling down and full of a mess you can not believe. Still have allot to do. When they are done will post I think jessie will use them for some things

I'm trying to organize some of my supplies. I do not know what I have I'm going to start doing stitching. Doing some crazy quilt and art cards. I did sew a larger one ,I have done before.

I joined the once a month exchange for ACT Blissfull Act Swap . It got me into stitching again

Painting day

This is what I'm working on now.It is for Jessies apartment.It will be Marilyn Monrow again she is putting on lipstick and in front of a table but I took that all off. It is 18x24 a good size.

I'm sure you all have seen the original Painting of this "The American Gothic"

I have wanted to paint this for years. I have a vintage frame .When it is dry I will frame it. The people who have looked at it think it looks like Joe not so much me.I took artist license fixed a couple things I didn't like made myself with gray hair ,mine is colored so maybe looks different. I do not know what I look like if I'm not looking a mirror even the picture I had to look at still did not do well .You think about it do you know what you look like?

Thinking of the projects for Christmas swaps. It sure is good to get the creative thinking going.

This is my July display

The box is from my swap party,umbrella I just got when I was in the city's.The bears is a artist bea,r star box's I painted awhile ago.In the dark frame I have a pendent I made with some charms like a watch face ,dice , a thimble . uncle SAM is paper macha from favorite booth in the art show. color ball are painted Styrofoam ball.

This the wreath just made.the doll dress is raggey ann I just sew to a dress I bought a thrift store. Just fun things. I hope to do a few more things before the end month.
