Busy week

Going to Minneapolis Minn.

Most of my family live there

Still taking some of my daughters thing she had stored  here

Needle punch  Ginger man pined to pillow

 My daughter Birthday is the 24 .
She likes snowmen I painted this for here

 Just made these for granddaughters Something for there stocking .
I give them money but Its no fun to just that ,I like to get to give them few small things Fun shopping for me

 Changed a few things found new snowmen , will keep them for January will not use Santas

My friend I help decorate her door it was a contest
Last night we won, It was a cash price She said we can go out and eat very good
We will celebrate our win in the New Year

Peggys ,Needle punch

My granddaughter is getting married.
She asked me to bake the cake for bride and groom.
Remember I not a baker "I said are you Nuts" " she said No"
I make a box cake put nuts and chips in it. when its done poke holes in it pour in them sweet can milk
She love it and eats a the whole thing in a week end
So here is my first try

I went to a craft show  this week end
I talked to a gal that has a baker and told me some tricks
Maybe I can get it right
I need to have some friends over
So I do not eat it all, I like it too.

My projects I finished, I have the tool to make flowers pedals and the pom pom so fun.
Vintage pins I used to pin  the ginger man  to a pillow,  I made pillow and  added a few things

My friend called me, thought she asked to take her to the store to get some things for her door ,she live  in a asserted living home. I said yes.
I was not right . She had things  she wanted to use.   she wanted me to do it. So the light , in the garland did not work messed with them.  
I left to go to the store get extension cords , fixed that.
She also wanted  a tree by the door .
Had a another tree with two set of lights on it so off they came ,
Went to use  I always check to see if they work .One set was out. Used one set worked  sure needed more
I sat her small Vignettes of Santa's to fill the spot in place of lights
Put a wreath  at the top put ornaments on it  to fill the holes, she had a big bow added the bow.
It was really was a fun day, She loved it  and said she was so glad it was done Peggy has not been felling good so made me fell good it helped her

It has been a time been here

A lot I have done 

Was in Minneapolis for one month 

Help my daughter move to here new home

 My only Daughter she is a Jem

 Went to a craft show in Minneapolis It what I picked up  It was a nice big one

 Needle punch I did the sucker was needle point I stared many years ago
I really trying to finish things I stared have done a few things

Husband went on a trip so have got done 

Can get so much done when alone

Do not know why

Have had some classes 

One was Needle Punch

 I used yarn , The students where all new to needle punch .
Used a different needle , It had a fine needle point I use a oxford and wool.
But all like what they where doing ,some have finished there,They look great , Im sure they will finish the patterns I gave them

Other one do not know what it is call

Maybe modeling paste

It was her first try

What fun

After we finished the first step we went shopping

She was using my junk

found alot of things for  her next projects

I try every month to send a package to my college granddaughter she loves to decorator her apartment with small  holiday 's things

New needle punch have have finished and some fun yarn

I may teach a class in needle punch at  local yarn shop

It may be to much a cost to have with all the needed supplies

One sits on a glass jar, Center is on a lime color cup, third is just a fancy gal

A hanging gal with a Tummy full of balloon's
The color are one of my favorite combination

Repeat of the" fancy's ladys" another hanging doll.

She remines in of the A" of Hearts.

Her tummy is ful of hearts.

So happy you came by!!!!!

 Granddaughter for to her second year of college.

This year she has a apartment.

Couple painting she did your there kitchen .

 Nice job took two days but did by herself

Car is full

 But they got it all.

My husband can pack good

She was full ,glad I do not have to unpack,

The apartment is on the fifth floor .Good  they have a elevator

Oh what fun time ahead for her

Looking forward to see how she does her apartment

Tomorrows a big day for kids starting school a 

University of Minnesota

My glass tower

Things from when I was a tiny person.

I have had many years

The dome is from Mexico

Sometime in the 70'

The glass figure.

My husband work in research

and they had a glass blower

he made it.

Box of memories

Bracelet blue from grade school , tennis pin ( my trophy from tennis match )

Ceramic dolls from a Great Aunt ,
Key ring of a tupperware bowl.
Blue pill box.

Two wooden peg dolls ,  Big one from a auction 

Small one My uncle was from Denmark.

His family had a farm over there .

The family sold it ,So from his share of money,

He could not take the money out of Denmark.

That's how I received  the doll.

My age was about 3-4years old.

 My mother saved it in her top drown of the dresser.

I saw my cousin daughter of the uncle.

Told here I would send it her for granddaughter

Love when I know someone read this.

Roses for Lois memory

She loved Rose

My Sister Lois Ann 

In memory of my sister .....

She left us  last week.

She was the last sister older than me.

She was 82.

She had a stoke.

Very much a surprise.

 A wonderful way to  leave.

 I talked  to her about it.  

 She was okay with leaving.

Her kids sent her off. Very nice.  The way she liked things.

She always liked things to match.  Her earrings and all her outfit matching. 

Very classy.

  They did that for her.

Flowers were mostly Roses... She loved Roses!!!

 Arraignments were put in a roaster and a bread pan she used all the time.

Like her, very creative.

She was married to a man that was a large farmer.

She worked hard. 

She had a nice comfortable life.

I loved her dearly.

Sky Blue Monday

Hi

On a ride home in the car all these hearts in the clouds 

It was a sad day

  My  daughter was moving .

She sold her house and is now moving to a camper till she finds a apartment .

She looking for a job in Minneapolis, 

She now lives in a small town

 but it's a nice town they have allot of extra things for a small town.

 So she is trying to find a job and a new house in Minneapolis.

They will be living from ,7_8 hour drive for us

I see her all most every week  now it will be different

Will miss here a lot , 

 my 3 granddaghters  and my son and allot nieces and nephew live  in Minneapolis ,

 Would love to move but it's too much now

I have alway wanted to move there

The skys where so nice that day we packed and got them in the camper 

Everything is meant to be

 They where in sky  same day

I collect hearts Will be posting more It urn out to be fun happy day
