ATC Card

This is my Orange ATC for August .

This is the card I sent .It is of a copy of a Hummel card It is felted on a piece of wool from a sheep farm here in North Dakota. http://woolygirls.com They have wonderful colors of wool.There is also beads and charms.
The card is one I painted of my granddaughter Jessie.

I'm Back

I have been going with my friend painting Getting things for my trip
I also cleaned all my pictures on to CD's . I will be working on them for awhile.
Went to a auction .Bought three lighting rods and some pieces of wood for shelves and cage dolls. I have did some work on my ATC case.
I painted faces on my mannequins.They are drying when I put them back on body will post.

The dark with dark fabric from is a shirt I worn in high school.

There is a man mannequin in the back . I won on Ebay the stand I found curb shopping

All the hats are vintage Love hats

Print one is french dictionary is from Etsy. I'm still not done with the pink ones need to add make up. The ones with the fabric draped with vintage fabric,Curtains from our farm 50 years ago Red is wool from the wool store in Pendelton Oregon . I just hate to cut fabric I like. I do have a few small mannquins I have painted around the house also .

The last is a quest bedroom The bed was on the grandfather's farm for 50 y I had my brother in law did .t was one big piece of rust I had it sand blazed. The crystal finals gone so I found some door knobs on Ebay and they work out. a I have a collection of McCoy pottery. The wedding certificate in the corner is my granddaughter They where married where in 1905 in Minnesota. My mother said if I would frame it I could have it some day . Now I do .The painting of the lady my friend was need to stop .Will stop

For the Christmas in July Great things. I like the Elves.There was even something for fall. I'm going to make arrangement with afew of the things.

It was fun .Hope to do more swaps.It makes you feel like you know the person better. So when you follow you know a little more about them.I really need to take time when taking pictures
I redid my Santos doll. I like it better. The picture is not that good they look better in person. Now I'm going to change the another one I did.

I do want to do a new one too. I learned allot about the paper clay.The heart is a tin shape.I really like tin to paint on tin.

Been busy today I'm cleaning up, putting some things away
I really need to throw things out .My friend from when we where in grade school, I have known her all my life a true friend is coming to stay a few weeks .Also Jillian is going come Monday to stay a few days ,will be doing some baking and some crafts Halloween things, maybe some glass.Will post project's.

Going to spend some time out on the east coast for a few weeks this fall .I want to bring some hand work so going to makes some kits to do.Need to do some glass dishes to take with us for gifts. Will do some fall colors.

I look for ward to it every week. I look for something pink and detail. That is one of the thing I need to do . I do not pay much attention to detail so need to work at that.

The dolls are a few from my collection of dolls .The Blondie is wearing a dress my granddaughter Jessie wore when she was about four years old, she loved Disney, she is now twenty
The doll wearing the shirt dress ,Jillian wore a few years ago. The dark hair one is wearing a watch I had when I was little. My mother saved it for me .I'm sure glad she did. It is a yellow elastic band with a plastic watch.( You see I come by it naturally saving things) Maybe one of you will remember them.
The red head is wearing a outfit I recycled. I do have fun with them. Me and Jillian changed them for Pink Saturday.

They all look like movie stars. The picture was taken in our back yard it was nice day to be outside.

I have had a great week Spending days with granddaughters Jillian and Jessie shopping. Did school shopping .First day school dresses and supplies. Worked on Jessies blog http://modamanana-jq.blogspot.com/ Check it out I think she did good. It is very helpful.

Today me and Jillian played Cake Boss( it is a show on the food channel)
Here are pink cupcakes she made. She had to make a display. Also made some pumpkin. Did you know there is no can pumpkin around since last Nov?
This next week Jillian is staying longer.

I received my Christmas in July swap gift.. I love the elves I mailed mine today .
I hope Elaine Likes mine as much as I liked what she sent.After she received mine I will post both. It was fun Now I'm going to help my friend do things for her holiday craft shows .Making holiday arrangements she has allot of vintage and fun thigs to use. Will be fun.
